“The Lands Between” is a game made by a small team that set out to create a Fantasy action RPG with a unique and quite a bit darker storyline that didn’t restrict the player’s actions with a story and structure. We also put a lot of effort into creating a very immersive and graphics-rich game.

The Lands Between combines the best aspects of the traditional RPGs, such as tactics, character development, and exploration, with an expansive open world and a heavy emphasis on shooting enemies. There is no typical story structure, and the most important element of the game is the online multiplayer.

World Design
Our goal was to create a world that was real and felt three-dimensional. We combined the best aspects of 2D and 3D worlds and created a lush graphics that transports the player to a fantasy world. The world of the Lands Between is not a flat empty terrain, but has a diverse land full of excitement. It’s a world that has the characteristics of real life, with a mountainous terrain, a beautiful world, and it has the characteristics of a fantasy world.

Character Design
Depending on each character’s class, we created an appearance, a suitable weapons set, and the basics of their actions. We created characters that are filled with emotion, and also created characters that are able to successfully utilize the variety of weapons.

We also equipped each character with individual abilities as well as various attack skills, and created diverse class combinations.

• The Attributes of each character are completely adjusted to fit with the situation.

The player can freely control the equipment that each character is equipped with, and make sure that the character is suited to the situation, or to increase the effectiveness of characters such as beasts that have been acquired after the start of the game.

• There are various difficulties to conquer.

On the map screen, the stage will progress through the high-end area of the world as well as the low-end area. In addition, the level-up condition can be achieved at any time. The type of battle in the map will also change during the game, depending on the attributes of the player’s character.
